M I T 12-09-22 Chemistry Dept Gala
12-09-22 The Chemistry Dept of MIT held their annual gala. 300 plus attended and it was over the top with venders providing games of chance set up at individual kiosks throughout the room. Outside on the veranda was a game of miniature golf in which if you hit par or under you immediately won a prize and just by virtue of playing you were entered into a raffle which had prizes given out at the end of the event. There was a unique sweater contest as well and all of the contestants were given a prize. Students and faculty had a wonderful time and there was a lot of laughing and hugging. Karaoke was the centerpiece of the evening and it was nonstop singers from the beginning to the end with several left over because we ran out of time Laure was signing people up and handling the in-between music as well as the karaoke songs while Curtis shot photos of the event. Amy and Sean are married!
Amy and Sean we’re married in a beautiful ceremony which lasted about 15 minutes. A large number of friends and family attended and there were smiles and hugs all around. There were 3 team members from Curtis Knight Entertainment presenting the Wedding ceremony and reception. Curtis Knight was the Justice of the Peace, Laure Hanafin took photos and Mark Cherone was the DJ and he did a fabulous job of packing the dance floor like he always does.
11-1-22 Dan and Claudette were married!
11-1-22 Dan and Claudette Donovan were married, and held their wedding ceremony at CK E Chapel, Billerica, MA. This ceremony was very special because the bride and groom were so happy they giggled, left held hands and kissed each other many times during the ceremony. Laure from CKE shot beautiful photographs while Curtis performed Justice of the Peace duties, with a custom ceremony, which included the giving of marriage, affirmation of marriage, and celebration of the hands. The ceremony was immediately followed by several photos and then they were off to have a beautiful meal together and celebrate their love for each other.
11-5-22 Denise turned 50!!
11-5-22 Denise turned 50!! Tina organized an absolutely out of this world celebration for her friend Denise who was, unbeknownst to her, about to celebrate her 50th birthday. Denise’s husband James had asked Tina to take care of all the details so there would be no paper trail to him and he could pull off the surprise. Just over 100 guests waited patiently at Papa Razzi in Wellesley. Denise knew that her husband, James, was taking her out for dinner but did not know that everyone was waiting to yell surprise. She was completely taken aback and completely unaware when she walked into the room and heard everybody yell surprise. Her friends put a tiara on her head and the sash around her shoulders to help celebrate. Mark from CKE was the DJ, Laure from CKE photo booth, and Curtis from CKE photographer. The three of us from CKE discussed the party at the end of the night and we agreed it’s one of the best run, most enjoyed parties we have ever seen! Great job, Tina and James!! 🙂 The most important thing was Denise was happy and she seemed to be very very happy!
Nicole and Matt’s wedding ceremony and reception 11-04-22.
Curtis and Laure were the DJ’s and did photography at Nicole and Matt’s wedding at Church l Landing at Mill Falls, Meredith, NH. It was over the top fun and crazy which started with a beautiful ceremony. During grand entrance some of the members of the wedding party came in on scooters with their own special song that they picked. The guests were thoroughly entertained and had a wonderful time. The view of the lake was extraordinary and the venue did a fantastic job serving a delicious meal. At the end of the night all of the guests surrounded the dance floor and we did the victory lap while Nicole and Matt did high fives with all of their guests. Everything went right and nothing went wrong on their beautifully perfect wedding day!
Karen and Chris’ Wedding Ceremony and Reception 10-22-22
Karen and Chris held their wedding ceremony and reception at Spinelli’s function facility on route one in Lynnfield Massachusetts. Curtis was the justice of the peace and Laure shot photographs. Curtis and Laure both did the DJ duties. This wedding has to go down in history as one of the best weddings ever. All of the guests were so nice and in such a great mood and everyone laughed and hugged and high fived so much it was contagious. The ceremony was held in the fenced in ceremony area outside with gorgeous water views in the background. Mr and Mrs Malo had tiny replicas made of their four pets and they were sitting like guardians atop the wedding cake 🙂 Thank you Karen and Chris for a wonderful day! Congratulations! https://www.ckephotos.com/porfert-malo.
Robin and Tim’s Bass Rocks Wedding, 09-24-22
Robin and Tim our dear friends of Curtis and Curtis and Laure had the honor of providing DJ and MC, as well as photography services for their wedding day at Bass Rocks in Gloucester MA. Their close friend Todd was the officiant of the ceremony and he did a fantastic job with snippets of humor that had friends and family howling. Formal Photos on the ocean were fun and breathtakingly beautiful. I sent a package with a handful of printed photos in it as a gift as well as all of the images from the entire day, in full resolution, in a Google Drive folder. Robin and Tim are very much into their music and so we had a specific set of songs that needed to be played which made our very attractive, very popular bride and groom very happy 🙂 In my opinion it was a perfect wedding day. Everything went right and nothing went wrong.

Natalie and Scott’s Wedding Reception. 09-24-22
Curtis and Laure were the DJs and photographers for Natalie and Scott’s wedding reception at the Nabnassett Lake Country club in Westford MA. The guests were crazy and bouncing off the walls, and it was a very fun wedding reception with lots of singing along and crazy dancing. Scott provided music recorded by his grandmother Shirley, and we played these songs during the reception for people to dance to and for their final dance of the evening as husband and wife. We had a 45 inch 4K TV set up and as we took the photos we re touched them and loaded them wirelessly to the ongoing slide show. Groups of people gathered in front of the TV and pointed screamed and laughed as they watched the images go by. At the end of the party a large number of people chanted “One more song! One more song!” and that is the definition of a great wedding reception 🙂
Chelsey & Shawn McCarthy’s Wedding Ceremony & Reception 09-10-22
Curtis and Laure were the DJ’s and photographers and provided 2 audio setups, lighting and a 4K TV for LIVE photo editing. One audio set up for the ceremony which was out on the lawn beside the fountain. The other audio system was set up inside the tent. It was a crazy fun bunch of people who all yelled and screamed until the end of the reception and then the after party followed with one of the biggest bonfires I have ever seen. They chose to have the party at their home but you might have thought that you were at a ritzy 5 star wedding facility because they left nothing to chance and everything was upscale and impressive. Because I have an irrigation system with 30 heads at my home I asked Shawn how many heads his very impressive system had. When he responded 150 my jaw dropped 🙂 – Curtis
Ali and Matt’s Wedding Ceremony and Reception 09-03-22
September 3 2022 Curtis and Laure were are the DJ’s and photographers, and Curtis was the JP for Ali and Matt’s Wedding Ceremony and Reception at the Maynard Road and Gun Club, Maynard, MA. . Scott and Melissa were DJ mixers and Steven and Megan were attendants for the photo booth. The staff was run by Julie who was extraordinary in every way. She helped the bride the groom all of the people from our company, all the people that work there, all of the guests and the caterers as well. Ali and Matt had a wonderful time and did a lot of laughing and hugging and kissing. The ceremony was beside the pond that is behind the club and the reception was inside the pavilion which is a large covered structure that is open on the sides. The staff lit tiki torches in the evening which kept the bugs away 100%. There is no power outlet down by the pond so we brought a battery based generator and took care of the music and microphones for the ceremony. Curtis was the JP while Rich did sound and Laure took photos. The gun club instructed the people firing at the gun range to ceasefire for the 1/2 hour that surrounded the ceremony so it was just the quiet sounds of nature in the background while they had their beautiful ceremony which set the tone for a wonderful wedding day.
