Phyllis Guardino
Born in Winchester , Massachusetts Phyllis Guardino attended Tufts University and has Worked as Dental Hygienist, HR Manager, Exec Assist and more. She enjoys enjoys Skiing, Swimming and Tennis.
She Became a JP in 1999 and is a member of Mass JP Association. Phyllis does a lot of military Wedding Ceremonies for service people stationed at Hanscom Air Force Base. Phyllis says “Most couples know what they want but don’t know how to express it. I take this worry away from them and put a ceremony together for them; including vows; exchange of rings…I will tell the story of how they met if they want me to….They are always happy with what I do.
I work at MITRE Corporation and have a HAFB ( Hanscom Air Force Base ) CAC Card which allows me on the base to perform weddings at the MINUTEMAN CLUB. I am the only JP in Bedford or in the area who can get onto the base without all the paperwork…FYI This is a lovely function hall. I have performed Rose, Candle, Hand ceremonies and more.
For large weddings at halls/church I put together a nice ceremony handout or create it for the bride to have made up according to their theme. Couples I have married range in ages from 19 to 92!!!! I also have performed many same sex marriages. My style is middle energy – a little humor especially if they are nervous and they usually are…”
Most important – based upon couples spiritual/religious beliefs and cultural backgrounds, I create the appropriate tone and theme that will reflect the mood, sensitivity and inspiration they wish. I personalize their vision for their special day. I will officiate a simple civil ceremony in my/their home or lavish church or function hall ceremony”.
