Jenna and Matt came together in holy matrimony on May 13th, 2017. The ceremony and reception took place at the Brookside Club in Buzzards Bay, MA with clear views of the waterways in the distance. As Jenna and Matt wed under the auspices of their matrimony tent, neither could stop smiling and staring lovingly into one another’s eyes. As everyone moved inside for dinner and dancing, they were treated to several moving speeches from the bride’s sister and the groom’s brother and best friend. The dance floor was packed until the very end and not a soul left without a smile on their faces. Congratulations Jenna and Matt! May your wedding day love follow you all the days of your life!!!

Memorial Day Parade In Billerica, MA
Ken Buffum orchestrated yet another moving Memorial Day parade on May 29th, 2017. The event took place in downtown Billerica, MA and brought many in attendance to tears as they remembered the brave men and women who fought to defend and keep democracy alive. Many guest speakers took to the podium to share their words of appreciation and wisdom, including Billerica police detective Peterson, himself a veteran. As the parade moved through the streets, the dozens of participating children through wrapped candy to those in attendance. It was an exceptional event to remember the exceptional men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.

It was hard to find a dry eye throughout the ceremony as a breathtaking Stacey walked down the aisle to join in holy matrimony with her one true love, Rob. 2017 Council on Aging Sweetheart Dinner Dance, Billerica, MA
The 2017 Sweetheart Dinner Dance was a massive success this year!!! Brought to you by the Billerica Alliance and hosted at the Elks Lodge, we celebrated couples with over 50 years of commitment together. As always, Jeanne Teehan and her team from the Council on Aging ran everything to perfection. Included in attendance were dinner, a commemorative photo, and of course — DANCING!!!
We look forward to celebrating another wonderful Sweetheart Dinner Dance next year with the Council on Aging and, once again, congratulations to all of the couples who demonstrated just what commitment looks like.

Senior Citizen of the Year – Elks Lodge, Billerica, MA
The Senior Citizen of the Year Awards Banquet took place this year on May 12th at the Elks Lodge in Billerica, MA. Everyone enjoyed poignant speeches and gourmet meals as part of the festivities. This years winner, Joan Parcewski, was especially riveting. It’s at events like these that we remember how invaluable our senior members of the community are and how much they contribute to the livelihood of all. To list off just a few of the many wonderful things they do to help us all:
- They are open and giving to local charities
- They share their wisdom learned from years of life
- They babysit our younger members of the community
- They do great volunteer work in big and little ways throughout the year.
- And so much more….

Ashley and Chris Wedding Day
Congratulations to Ashley and Chris on their BEAUTIFUL wedding at the CKE Chapel here in Billerica, MA. After performing their wedding vows and officially “tying-the-knot” inside, we then journeyed outside to take photos and enjoy the beautiful weather. Gina & Moose’s Sparkling New Years Eve Wedding Reception
From Gina… Re: Her New Year’s Eve Amazing Wedding.
Good Morning my friend! I’m just getting a chance now to reach out to you. We got home from Aruba Sunday night and I spent Monday doing, laundry, cleaning toilet bowls, doing errands and attending two wakes…..nothing says welcome back to reality like all that! I came back to work yesterday after not being here for two weeks…..yikes! And just like that, the wedding is over! I can’t thank you enough for everything you and your team did to make our wedding the success it was. People are still talking about it…..AND YOU! I can’t tell you how many private messages, text messages, phone calls, etc. Moose and I have been getting raving about you, about Anna, about Rachel………Mike…..even the photo booth guy……Eamon……people LOVED him! We have been inundated with comments about how professional you all were, how much fun, how the photographer wasn’t intrusive or pushy….I could go on and on and on…………. From the start, I knew what I wanted and even more importantly, I knew what I didn’t want. I wanted a party/a celebration……..I wanted no stuffy structure and for people to eat, drink, dance and have fun all night long….and that they did….because of YOU! Thank you Curtis, from the bottom of my heart for making our wedding a night Moose and I will remember the rest of our lives.
I saw the pictures and I love them. I could never find the appropriate words to thank you. So, I will just say it again….thank you Curtis and Anna, for making our wedding a night to remember. We will never forget you or your kindness.

Saturday, December 31, 2016, Curtis and Anna from CKE were the DJ/MC’s for Gina & Moose’s Sparkling New Years Eve Wedding Reception at Anthony’s in Malden, MA. Curtis was the photographer and Anna was the live photo editor as well as the uplighting technician. Eamon of CKE ran photobooth for guests also. Witnessing the unconditional love these two shared for each other was uplifting and inspiring. You could tell by the way Moose looked into his new bride’s eyes that there is nothing he wouldn’t do for her. These two have the most infectious personalities and this was obvious watching the way their lovely guests reacted to them. After eating a delicious gourmet meal, guests took to the dancefloor and rocked themselves straight into 2017! A fantastic time was had by all! MIT Department of Chemistry Annual Karaoke Gala!
Friday, December 9, 2016, Curtis and Anna from CKE were the DJ/MC’s for the MIT Department of Chemistry’s Annual Karaoke Gala! The event was held in the Walker Memorial building on campus in Cambridge, MA. Curtis took lots of hilarious and interesting photos which were edited back at the CKE studio in Billerica. Every year these hardworking students get the opportunity to put down their books and let loose for a change and that they did! After a delicious meal karaoke was open to all who wanted to partake. There were some lively acts as well as some highly entertaining group numbers! Nicole and Adam’s Winter Wonderland Fantasy Wedding
Sunday, December 4, 2016, Curtis and Anna from CKE were the DJ/MC’s for Nicole and Adam’s winter wonderland, fantasy wedding at the Tewksbury Country Club in Tewksbury, MA. CKE also provided uplighting for their reception and Kim stepped in for photo editing. The weather, although clear was quite brisk and there was a slight breeze making the wind chill just a bit chillier. However, inside the country club there was a cozy Christmas warmth that allowed everyone to forget the temperature. A Christmas tree sprinkled in red and gold glitter with tasteful white lights stood tall against the head table and graced the room with blissful Christmas cheer. Even from afar it was easy to see the love that this adorable couple felt for each other. Nicole was a simply gorgeous and glowing bride and Adam was clearly mesmerized by her beauty. Witnessing the adoration Nicole and Adam have for each other was beautiful and refreshing for us to see. Once the delicious dinner was served and the cake was cut it was time for this party to get started! These two rocked out and danced the night away happily at the Tewksbury Country Club alongside their dear friends and family. Where do I even begin? Curtis and Anna hands down made my wedding. Almost every guest I have spoken to have RAVED stating that my DJ was the best they have ever experienced and I could not have agreed more. My wedding was originally planned for December 2015 however my husband who is active duty military deployed last minute and I had to change my wedding date just 10 weeks out and Curtis and Anna were beyond amazing and made what could have been a very chaotic and stressful experience a very smooth transition. During planning, Curtis pays so much attention to detail that as a bride I did not have to worry about a single thing. They also made sure details I never would have even considered thinking about were taken care of. During my wedding, Curtis made sure the entire event ran on time and smoothly and made sure I was where I needed to be at all times. I did not have to worry about a thing. On top of being phenomenal DJs and wedding planning assistants, Curtis and Anna helped me to surprise my husband with Rene Rancourt. I recommend Curtis and Anna to not just brides but to ANYONE who needs a DJ for any event. Thank you Curtis and Anna from the bottom of both my heart and John’s for such a fantastic experience. I can say with full confidence, my wedding would not have been such an amazing night without you both there.
