Lahey Clinic 06-06-24 Graduation Day!
Lahey clinic put on a fantastic celebration for graduating doctors who have now taken up positions at hospitals across the country and around the world. This is an extraordinary brain trust with really talented doctors. The Marriott Hotel in Burlington MA hosted the event and they did an absolutely fantastic job. Special shout out to Shannon the room captain who made sure that literally every single person in the room was happy and addressed every situation instantly and efficiently! Thank you Shannon! And congratulations to the class of 2024! Laure provided breathtaking uplighting which reflect the Lahey Colors…Curtis and Laure were DJs and photographers and we had the 45 inch 4K TV showing the instant live slideshow throughout the event. And then for the last 20 minutes we reprogrammed the TV to show the Celtics game and some of the attendees were excited! Especially because the Celtics were winning by so much. Fantastic celebration with great food, great decorations, great presentation and execution. Many plaques and awards were given to serving recipients!
5-16-24 Sweetheart Dinner Dance, Billerica, MA
A large committee of close to 40 people presented the sweetheart dinner dance in Billerica MA. This is for couples that have been married for 50 years or longer. Each couple is treated to a complimentary multiple course meal which by the way was completely delicious. Each couple receives a proclamation signed by the governor of Massachusetts and multiple members of our state government applauding each specific couple for their impressive relationship that has endured throughout the decades. Curtis and Laure were the DJs and provided photography for the event. The big hit of the night was the photo booth which was run by Laure and took all of her attention for the greater majority of the evening. The line of people waiting was almost 50 people at one point during the evening and many of the people went back again and again because it was so much fun. The photo booth that we use takes either three photos or a 1.5 second video which turns out to be completely hilarious and then we take your cell phone number punch it into the system and it sends either the video or the still photos or both to your cell phone. Laure was very happy to help everybody enter their phone numbers and for people who couldn’t remember we took down their information and mailed them printed copies of their photos or we dropped them at the Council on Aging for them to pick up. Halfway through the evening we presented an honorary proclamation from the governor of Massachusetts as well as a bouquet of flowers to the longest married couple in attendance and they had been married for longer than 71 years. I was holding the microphone and providing master of ceremonies descriptions of what was happening, and when I asked the husband of 71 years what the secret was to his success, he shrugged and then said “I do what I’m told”. I repeated that for the benefit of the just over 100 couples in attendance and it brought the house down with thunderous applause and laughter. There were 25 servers that waited on tables with concierge-like attention to detail. It was a wonderful evening for all of the romantic couples and all of us that helped present it. It helps restore our faith in the institutions of marriage and fellowship 🙂 Thanks very much to the Billerica Elks for the use of their beautiful building and thank you to each of the sponsors who provided the funds to be able to give this wonderful gift to our senior citizens. – Curtis

5-4-24 Epic Studio 54 Fenn School tribute night!
The Fenn school asked Curtis if he could do an entire evening of all music from the Studio 54 era. We responded and put on a presentation of Studio 54 era music and the teachers and parents went crazy and had an absolutely wonderful time! Curtis and Laure did the DJ/MC portion as well as the photography. Many of these 70s throwbacks chose to dance in costume from the Studio 54 era and we had people impersonating stars and celebrities from that time period. It was completely hilarious and the dance floor was packed. – Curtis

4-20-24 Mike and Sam had their wedding at Derryfield Country Club!
Curtis and Laure were each Photographer and DJ. The photos were uploaded to a live slideshow that ran throughout the entire wedding and the guests including the bride and groom congregated in front of the TV watching the beautiful images as the slide show played. Mike and Sam’s are two of the nicest people we have ever met. And they had so much fun and so much love and so many laughs and smiles on their wedding day it was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. Schneider Electric 2024 kickoff party, Sheraton Harborside, Portsmouth, NH!
This is a very special group of talented people that are part of a company that is doing very well even in this challenging economy. Everyone was in a super good mood and when we busted out the games they all participated as though they were competing for an Olympic gold medal. The committee that put the party on (Laurie and Tina) deserves an A plus for the way they decorated the room and all of the different things they brought in including video games, couches, big screen for the TV that was running and one whole wall done with a ski lift mural and then they placed a custom made ski lift chair for people to have their pictures taken. It was really quite striking and everybody had a wonderful time and screamed and yelled right till the very last minute! Laure and I really look forward to this party! I was Dj and Photos and so was Laure. Andre was in the CKE photo Booth and he was exhausted at the end of the evening from all the laughing and screaming and crowding in the photo booth! Barbara and Ken got married 2-4-24
Barbara and Ken got married at St Anthony Club of North Woburn, MA. They wrote their vows and each of them shed a tear while reading their prepared vows. We also did the tying of the knot, hand fasting ceremony, where I tied their hands together and then said an old Celtic prayer over their bound hands. Everyone cheered loudly when I pronounced them husband and wife! – Curtis

12-7-23 The Sunshine Gals presented their annual gala!
This was for people who could not otherwise enjoy a wonderful holiday. Curtis and Laure were the DJ and photographers and they brought unbelievably cool photo booth which takes pictures and video and then sends the content to your cell phone. The people attending the gala had so much fun with the photo booth! Sunshine gals worked tirelessly to provide so so many courses of the unbelievably delicious meal, that I lost track. The concierge level white glove service that they give to these people is just so special and their organization and their work ethic is beautiful and worth mentioning! 12-02-23 Arena Family Annual Gala, Waltham, MA
Karen and Bob put on absolutely spectacular extravaganza / gala featuring dancing and karaoke. Curtis and Laure were the DJs and photographers. Photographs were retouched on the spot as they were taken and uploaded to a slideshow that played on a 45 inch 4K TV. We also mixed in a smattering of photographs from several of the celebrations that were put on in past years. This prompted many of the guests to be pointing at the TV and discussing with other guests how wonderful it was to see photos from past parties. The singing was off and on but steady from the beginning all the way to the end and the dancing was so hilarious and so enjoyable. We felt as though we were the best DJ’s in the world because they treated us so good. Many of the approximately 100 guests continued to gush about the food, drink, fellowship, dancing and singing karaoke! They have been presenting this special holiday gala almost every year for quite some time now and it’s all always a wonderful experience. Lona and Jeff had the craziest Wedding Ceremony and Reception 10-14-23
Curtis was DJ and photographer and Laure was DJ and photographer for Lona and Jeff’s fantastic wedding ceremony and reception at the Groton Inn. They have a closer, more tight-knit relationship with their friends and family than almost any we have seen. So many smiles, so many hugs, so many high fives all day and the laughter and outright enjoyment that these special people enjoyed was extraordinary!
