How was your experience working with our DJ ?
Answer: Mike Flannagan was spectacular. It only took one song to get our crowd up on the dance floor! We had the floor packed the whole night and it was so great that we extended our time to continue the party! We could not have asked for a better DJ. We told him what we were looking for as far as theme of music and such and he really connected with the style we wanted and it was such a hit! He also gave a blessing for us and it was beautiful! We highly recommend Mike to ANYONE who wants to have fun at their wedding!

Good afternoon Curtis/Mark, I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you so much for everything. Mark was amazing. His holiday trivia game was a blast and the tie breaker was even better. Everyone loved watching the “2” teams compete to win the “2006 Holiday Party trivia” title. The head staff for our office was one of the teams that had to compete, which made it more interesting and fun for the group to watch. everyone had a blast! he had folks on the dance floor that I never pictured dancing…..it was great! as I had told you when i was interested in having your company do our Holiday Party, I was a little hesitant after the DJ I hired last year, from a different company, was unbelievably horrid. I am so happy I went with you all for this event. You guys are amazing and i would recommend you to anyone who is looking for a DJ service. Linda had people moving I never new moved before. She played games that everyone enjoyed, she danced and help maintained an enthusiastic atmosphere that is so needed at holiday party. at the same time she was not pushy or made anyone feel uncomfortable. The best compliment that I heard was from a spouse of an employee. As you know, being a spouse is very difficult, you don’t know anyone and you don’t want to say anything wrong. So when they complement the party it says a lot. This is what he said, “I have gone to these parties for 17 years now and this is the best every”. Please forward to Linda and tell her I hope that she will DJ for our party next year. She is a doll and it showed.

The meeting we had with your office was the best we had with the 3 parties we met with. Both you and Mark were friendly and helpful, and your worksheet that we did with Mark C. during the meeting was helpful for generating the game plan. Mark was solid. He played the type of music we wanted, did great with the introductions, and passing the mike around when needed. In short, everything that we expected and were pleased to get. All the requested music was done and played as expected. We can’t think of anything that Mark did which we would change. He worked well with us and the staff at the State Room. Our only minor complaint would have been to play Living on a Prayer a bit earlier when the party was more kicking, but that’s true nitpicking. He did a great job with a crowd that we were leery of being a bunch of party poopers sitting on their hands, but the party was anything but. Thanks Again Mark!

Hey Curtis, I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how much we appreciated all that Mark C did at our wedding on 10/14. He was very professional. At the beginning of the reception, it seemed that our wedding coordinator was not around to make sure everyone was lined up where they needed to be. Mark came out and made sure that everyone was where they needed to be and once again double checked how to say all the names. He kept people dancing all night. He was also very good at making sure that Katie and I knew exactly when things were happening, and if we needed certain events to happen sooner or later he made sure that it was okay with both of us. He played awesome music the whole night. We had one glitch with a song when the CD skipped, but Mark just turned it off and had everyone sing the rest of the song. It was pretty funny. I have to say that anyone who has Mark as their wedding DJ is definitely getting one of the best. He is a great asset to your company. Thank you for everything, Katie and Keyan Hoos

A simple phone call was all it took. Once I received the contract and mailed it back I was done. No further follow up calls were needed. Great job. Mark was very polite to all of us. He took request and took in the consideration of all the different age groups and played music of their times. Can’t say enough of the job he did. Mark provided something for all the different age groups. He maintained a nice volume to the music and wasn’t too loud for the ones with hearing aids. During our dinner he played very nice and soft music. Many comments from our group on how they liked Mark. He is also a very nice and polite young man. Great job.

How can you not have a good experience working with Curtis and “Extreme’s Brother”! Curtis did a great job editing the song for the Mother Son dance as well. The office was amazing. We always had prompt responses from them, usually within minutes of sending a question, and they worked around our crazy schedules. It was so great working with people who know what they are doing and could help us through the process. Mark was excellent. He was extremely flexible with meeting times and very helpful picking out the perfect songs. He worked with us on length of the special songs so we knew what we should look for and expect. The dance floor was full pretty much the entire time! Mark was the first person to offer to get us a drink after we sat down for dinner. He always made sure we were around when the big events were supposed to take place and that they went off exactly as we had discussed.

I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. I was treated with the utmost respect. Everything was taken care of for me….I felt like I did nothing! Phone calls were always returned promptly. Working with the office was easy and very fast. Stefanie was absolutely fantastic and able to strike a good balance having to deal with two different age groups: teens and middle aged crowd. Actually, she kept one of the oldest couple (65) on the dance floor the longest… they hardly stopped dancing for the whole four hours. I would have had a few more breaks to allow for people to talk but she had everybody so turned on that it probably was a hard call to pull the plug once a while. Everybody commented on what a great selection of songs she mixed. She was such a good mix of calm and energy. She was reassuring with me and energetic with my daughter! From the moment we met you both at our initial meeting to the multiple phone and e-mail conversations, and final follow-up meeting, your quick and accommodating responses made the entire process so easy-going. Even sending you a revised wedding itinerary on the morning of my wedding went perfectly when carried out flawlessly during the actual reception. I remember standing with my father hidden from the guests, ready to walk down the aisle. Suddenly the realization of what “today” was came over me while hearing the song “Fallen” by Lauren Wood. That song brought happy tears from both my Dad and me. While walking down the aisle with my father, I saw Jason at the “altar” and suddenly I was at ease. The man I was to marry was in front of me, I was arm and arm with my Dad and to cap it all off- our Somewhere Over the Rainbow song by Izzy K was playing. It couldn’t have been more perfect! And dancing our last dance to it wrapped up the evening perfectly…like bookends as I remember one of you put it. Since our wedding, I’ve heard that song on the new Rice Krispies commercial, and other random places. In fact, while Jason and I were honeymooning in Maui, we heard that song over and over in stores, lu-aus and restaurants, and realized how it had now become ‘our song’. I especially appreciated that Mark was the very first one to come over to our table and offer to get us a drink! I was so impressed and appreciative that he had noticed! This went above and beyond what I would have expected…from our DJ!!! Especially with everything else he had to coordinate that night-the fact that he noticed this and offered to go out of his way was so thoughtful. Approaching us a second time 20 minutes later when we still did not have drinks, was even more over-the-top and so attentive. Thank you! The thing we received more compliments on than anything though, was the shoe game that Jason and I played-so fun! And getting all of them right!! The pictures I’ve attached were from the “who loves who more” question. And also, as you can tell, everyone LOVED the “Sweet Caroline” sing-a-long battle. Thank you for recommending the games-it wouldn’t have been the same without them! I thought you might enjoy seeing these from another perspective so you’d understand just how wonderful the whole evening was. It wouldn’t have been the same without Mark’s professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail.

Jason and I were confident that Mark would do a wonderful job-but I think he really blew our socks off in how well the entire night went. The entire night went smoothly…from transitioning the music at the ceremony guest seating to walking down the aisle with my father. The games during the reception proved to be a big hit as well! Very professional and great format overall of how to pick the proper music, etc. in order to make the most of our BIG day! I must say, you can tell Mike loves his job. He really got everyone going and out on the dance floor. The music flow was perfect and everyone had a GREAT TIME! Mike went above and beyond with the whole evening. He made sure everything was in order and that we were satisfied with the whole evening. He even made a CD for Lori and I. Who could ask for anything more. Curtis, working with the office is always good, and easy. Stefanie did a great job under less than ideal conditions. What I mean is that the guests were of varying ages, from some in their 20’s to some in the late 60’s to 70’s age. She did a good job of keeping them entertained and engaged. The one thing I would change for future events is to have the person arrive a little earlier. Having the music going during dinner and at least part of the cocktail hour would have been better. She also stayed a little extra time to accommodate a few of the guests and that was greatly appreciated.
