Expenses: Couples spent an average of $31,213 on their wedding day.
According to an article in CNN Money The walk down the aisle continues to get more expensive. Expenses: Couples spent an average of $31,213 on their big day last year, according to latest study from The Knot, up more than 4% from $29,858 in 2013. The venue eats up the biggest portion of the budget with an average of $14,006, followed by the engagement ring at $5,855 and the band at $3,587. The average catering price per guest rang up at $68 in 2014.

Couples may be spending more on their weddings, but guests have reduced their gift spending recently.
This year, an attendee will spend an average of $106 on a gift, according to research from American Express Spending & Saving Tracker. That’s less than 2014 average of $109.
Gifts also depend on the guest’s relationship to the couple. Invitees will spend an average of $142 on family, and $90 for friends and colleagues, according to American Express.
One third of guests plan to gift cash to the newlyweds while 32% will pick something off the registry. Gift cards, non-registry gifts, money for the honeymoom or a donation also made the gift-giving list.

Guests can expect more personalized ceremonies and receptions.
“[Couples] are looking for ways large and small to make their wedding their own,” said Lauren Iannotti, executive editor at Brides magazine. “Oftentimes, that means re-inventing things.”
She said some couples are hiring artists to paint a custom backdrop for the ceremony or reception or a local artist to “live paint” the party. And there’s a new metal infiltrating the wedding scene. “Wedding markets are often affected by the home market, and the copper craze in homes, we are now seeing in weddings.”
Wedding cakes are also getting upgraded. It’s not enough for the outside to look good. “Creative cake interiors are something we are seeing,” said Iannotti. “Ombre insides or something artful underneath the frosting.”
But as couples strive to create a bespoke wedding day, that doesn’t mean they don’t want to share the special moments with the world. According to Kim Forrest, editor at WeddingWire, couples are hiring social media consultants to make sure photos are getting up and tagged properly.

Curtis Knight Attends Middlesex County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association Swearing in Ceremony
Sunday, March 8, 2015, Rolling Rick from Curtis Knight Entertainment was the DJ/MC at Middlesex County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association Swearing in Ceremony at Andover Country Club . The ceremony included multiple speeches including those from Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian, and President Michael Giacoppo. There were more than 500 attending, which filled the ballroom to capacity and all attending Reserve Deputy Sheriffs all had to stand and reaffirm our oath to the commonwealth of Massachusetts. Curtis Knight is a reserve Deputy Sheriff of Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Everybody was presented with a 2015 decal for our vehicles, a Deputy Sheriff ID Card, and also a “parchment” certificate stating that we are Deputy Sheriffs for another year.

Booth Size: Expandable booth from 3′ x 5′ to 5′ x 7′. Largest booth there is. Fits 35 people.
Strip Branding: Your strip is branded with your colors, your photo, your name, and event date.
Booth Color: Your event colors are branded in, with uplights at the entrance to the booth.
TV Monitor Branding: The TV monitor in the booth is branded with custom names, your date, and your event colors.
Number of strips: Included FREE – Every person that comes out of the booth gets a strip.

Saturday, January 24, 2015, Curtis and Anna, Boston Wedding DJs from Curtis Knight Entertainment, were the DJ MCs for Missy and Pat Tysinger’s wedding celebration! This celebration was held during a blizzard at the Stonehedge Inn located in Tyngsboro, MA. http://www.stonehedgeinnandspa.com/ Their outdoor photos came out incredible with a winter wonderland feel! Curtis brought along his camera and shot photos of the Tysinger’s wedding and presented them on two 43” high definition plasma TV’s throughout the evening. Anna from CKE provided the uplighting. Michael Brigida from CKE captured the evening on HD video.
Missy and Pat’s Love Story Goes like this:
It was October 11, 2011 and Missy reported for duty on the USS Klakring . Pat was already on board… and as the days passed Missy and Pat saw each other each day … Night after night Missy and Pat were assigned to the same bridge watch team. Missy and Pat would talk for hours while on duty …Then they pulled in to Charleston South Carolina and members of the crew went to a night club. Now for the first time Missy was dressed in her own civilian clothes. Pat was stunned by Missy’s beauty and her grace, as she moved on the dance floor.
The ship returned to Mayport in late February and Missy and Pat began to see each socially …2 months after they started going out Pat had already fallen in love with Missy. He was crazy about her so one night when he had too much to drink he sent a text message to Missy with 4 letters WYMM which stood for Will You Marry Me. The next day Missy asked Pat what it meant. Pat panicked and told Missy it was just random letters that did not mean anything.
Pat bought the engagement ring on December 15 and his plan was to propose to Missy on New years eve. He also planned to take her to dinner the night before and trick her into thinking there would be no proposal.
December 30, 2012 , the evening before new years eve, Missy and pat went to Chili’s restaurant and during dinner Pat explained to Missy that He was going to be stationed in the middle East in the spring, so any relationship he was in would have to wait till he returned. Of course he was saying all of this with the ring already purchased, waiting to be used the following night.
So Now it was new year’s eve 2012 and it was one minute before midnight. Pat had bought 4 balloons and put a piece of paper inside each balloon. The pieces of paper each had a letter on them W Y M M which once again stood for Will You Marry Me.
And now Just before midnight he told Missy he had a “word Jumble” game for her to play. Pat told Missy to open the balloons by popping them. So she popped the balloons and read the 4 letters W Y M M . Suddenly Missy realized what the letters meant. Tears began to roll down her cheeks as she tried to process what was happening…As she looked up there was Pat , On his knees, the open ring box in his outstretched hand. Several moments passed as pat tried to read the expression on missy ‘s face …Then he began to panic because Missy had not said anything…Then, Missy began to nod her head yes. Pat popped the champagne …and kissed his fiancée as the clock struck midnight.
And that brings us to this moment, right here right now. Please welcome, Mr and Mrs Patrick Tysinger

Booking Rene Rancourt for my husband's surprise 30th birthday was easy and fast, thanks to your online booking platform. I also loved that fact that I could make payments online, helping me keep my party plans discrete! Rene was extremely easy to work with. He kindly emailed and called me at least two times prior to the party, to ensure that he knew where he was going and what to expect when he arrived. He arrived at the exact time he said he would, and even stayed a little past his contracted time to mingle and take photos with our guests.
Booking Rene Rancourt to make a surprise appearance at my husband's birthday was the best thing I could have ever done. As a lifelong Bruins fan, my husband's love for hockey and the Bruins franchise caught on quick with me in our relationship. When I decided I wanted to surprise him with a very special celebration for his 30th birthday, I knew it was going to be Bruins-themed. But a simple party decorated with Bruins colors and a cake was not going to cut it for me. I needed that extra special touch to make it an unforgettable night for both my husband and all of our guests, who were also completely surprised by Rene's arrival.
Only 4 people including myself knew that Rene Rancourt would be joining the party, making it that more amazing when he finally arrived an hour after the party had started. My husband had been under the impression that the party was the big surprise - little did he know what he was in for! I had hired a professional photographer to be present at the party, and that was another decision I am thankful I made. I didn't have to worry about capturing priceless moments myself that evening. And boy, the moment Rene arrived was priceless. The look on my husband's face is one I will never forget. His arrival was met with astonishment, laughs, cheers, and he sang the absolute BEST version of "Happy Birthday" to my husband that anyone could ever manage.
Rene is an entertainer - plain and simple. He is loud and jovial, friendly and funny. He took photos with every single guest who wanted one, let guests try on his Stanley Cup ring, told stories of his time with the Bruins and helped himself to food and drinks. He truly made the party the huge success that it was. Our guests gushed to me afterwards that I did an amazing job planning the party, and that the memories made that night far surpass any physical gift that I could have given my husband.
I think my husband summarized the night perfectly when he posted on Facebook the following day: "Last night was a night I will tell my future children about." I've attached a few photos so you can see for yourself the absolute joy it was having Rene at the party.
