M I T 12-09-22 Chemistry Dept Gala

12-09-22 The Chemistry Dept of MIT held their annual gala.  300 plus attended and it was over the top with venders providing games of chance set up at individual kiosks throughout the room. Outside on the veranda was a game of miniature golf in which if you hit par or under you immediately won a prize and just by virtue of playing you were entered into a raffle which had prizes given out at the end of the event. There was a unique sweater contest as well and all of the contestants were given a prize. Students and faculty had a wonderful time and there was a lot of laughing and hugging. Karaoke was the centerpiece of the evening and it was nonstop singers from the beginning to the end with several left over because we ran out of time Laure was signing people up and handling the in-between music as well as the karaoke songs while Curtis shot photos of the event.
