Futures Clinic 2016 annual Holiday Gala
On January 14th 2016 Curtis and Anna from Curtis Knight Entertainment www.curtisknight.com were the DJs, Curtis Knight was the photographer and Rich Padula was the photo booth attendant for the Futures Clinic 2016 annual Holiday Gala. This is a very special group of teachers and healthcare professionals and advocates that help patients with autism and other physical and mental challenges. This was their chance to unwind and let off some steam. Jill is the owner of this amazing non-profit and she is very special with a very big heart. She bought so many really nice gifts for her employees it was staggering. They also had karaoke and it was and it was wireless karaoke and the images were projected onto a 7 foot screen as well as a 43 inch High Definition Plasma TV and they also had their small TV that they could read the words from. Everyone else attending got to read along and sing along as well. They also had CKE game show set up like the TV show Jeopardy and they all competed as teams to try and win tickets to the wonderful prizes that were waiting for them. Later on in the evening there were some dance challenges and finally a dance contest and it was truly an amazing segment to watch how feverishly they competed with each other. It’s worth mentioning that they were a very nice bunch of people who all seem to really like and love each other and they all get along and they are also nurturing and upbeat, positive and friendly. It defies logic when compared with the rest of the events we do in any given time frame. It was truly a privilege to serve this amazing bunch. Thursday, December 24, 2015 – Christmas Eve, Curtis and Anna from Curtis Knight Entertainment, www.curtisknight.com were the DJ MCs, both shot Still Photos. Jo Leary, of the Sunshine Gals, acted as Santa and gave out all the presents. Everyone who attended this gala was given a special flower arrangement from the power of flowers project http://powerofflowersproject.org . Jo was awesome and danced and pranced, as she skipped around the room giving away the gifts. She took the microphone from Curtis and made the event special. It was jo’s birthday and the entire room sang happy Birthday to Jo and a cake was brought out so she could blow out the candles. This is the Annual Gala / meal put on by the Sunshine Gals of Billerica http://www.sunshinegalsbillerica.com/what-we-do.html . Between 100 and 150 people attended and were treated to a complete Roast Beef dinner with all the fixings, Dessert, drinks – the works. The Sunshine Gals assigned one volunteer member to each of the tables and they delivered all the food like a 5 start restaurant would. All of these folks, including Santa volunteer their time to give folks a place to come for a hot meal and a family atmosphere on Christmas Eve – Bless their hearts, one and all. Curtis and Anna from Curtis Knight Entertainment www.curtisknight.com were the DJs at The State Room, 60 State Street, Boston, MA 02109 http://www.longwoodevents.com/Venues/state-room.shtml for Wellpet. Curtis and Anna used a CKE Karaoke program that allows patrons to use their cell phone to log on to WIFI and then enter a Karaoke system with 92000 songs on it. They were able to create a stage name and then make their song requests. The request was automatically added to the cue and the order of the singers appeared on the screen. While each singer performed their name was flashed on the Large TV screen that faced the audience along with the lyrics. Here is a slide show of photos shot by Curtis. A copy of was sent to Wellpet via U S Mail ! Tim and Deb were the most gracious of hosts. So humble. Tim, being the CEO of Wellpet made a speech and presented awards including the TOP DOG award for the team member that has the most impact during the year. Congrats to Kim !! Greg and Leigh’s Wedding reception with Curtis and Anna as DJs!
Saturday November 21, 2015 Curtis and Anna from Curtis Knight Entertainment were the DJ’s and Masters of Ceremony for Greg Jaynes and Leigh Sakowich’s Wedding reception. It was a very fun and very crazy evening with a crowd that jumped right into the action and began to connect with Curtis from the very beginning. They were very vocal and involved throughout the celebration. The Wedding Reception was held at the Westford Regency, Westford, MA . The staff there was very good and so was the food. Near the end Curtis had them make a circle around the dance floor and then they gave each one of their guests a high five. We call it the victory lap and it always goes over huge. This was a very fun and exciting Wedding Reception. At the end of the wedding there were lots of hugs and lots of smiles and our very cool bride and groom were very kind and lots of nice things to say to Anna and me ( Curtis ) . It was a pleasure to serve this very nice couple. They did not ask for much at all and told us that they trusted us to make all the big decisions. MIT Annual Christmas Karaoke Gala 12-11-15!
Friday December 11, 2015 Curtis and Anna were the DJ’s and masters of ceremony for the M I T Department of Chemistry annual holiday Karaoke Gala. It fun and crazy and Curtis and Anna used a new Karaoke program that allows patrons to use their cell phone to log on to an in house WIFI and then enter a Karaoke system with 92000 songs on it. They were able to create a stage name and then make their song requests. The request was automatically added to the cue and the order of the singers appeared on the screen. While each singer performed their name was flashed on the Large TV screen that faced the audience along with the lyrics. Some of the students and faculty brought their children as this is a family friendly event. Fun and exciting describe this event. Danielle was the point person who hired Curtis and Anna to put on the karaoke. She took over for Michele, and Michele was in attendance and once again she sang Karaoke this year and did a fantastic job as usual. Her boyfriend was there as well and he was awesome as well ! Care One at Wilmington Holiday Celebration with Curtis Knight Entertainment !
Saturday December five 2015 Curtis and Anna were the DJ’s and masters of ceremony for the Care One at Wilmington annual holiday celebration. It was a very fun and very crazy evening with a lot of prizes for the members of the staff. They are a nursing care facility with a lot of nurses and it was their time to have fun and be appreciated by the owners. The prizes included a lot of scratch tickets the $5 and $10 kind and 2 large screen TVs, iPads and several other really nice gifts. What an amazing holiday celebration! They had all of the employees make a circle around the dance floor and then they gave each one of them an envelope with a prize in it. Then they had all the friends and spouses who were not employees of Care One Wilmington come up to the dance floor and make a circle around the edge and then they presented each one of them with an envelope with a present in it. There were a bunch of games including musical chairs scavenger hunt which was really hilarious and brought the house down. All in all a very fun and exciting evening. On Friday, November 20th, 2015, CKE provided a DJ/MC and photo booth tech for the birthday party of Tommy & Billy Seidl! The party took place in the Brae Burn Country Club in West Newton, MA, gathering friends and family to celebrate both Tommy & Billy as well as the exciting Fenway Park college football game between the Boston College Eagles and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. CKE was able to take what we call the boys’ “lifetime images” and fine-touch them back at the lab. We’d like to thank the Seidl family for letting CKE be a part of this exciting day!

On Saturday, November 7th, 2015, CKE provided a DJ/MC as well as photography and uplighting for the dazzling wedding of Ashley and Jack Fleming! They were married in the beautiful St. Theresa’s in Billerica, MA and held their wonderfully exciting reception in the Mariott in Billerica as well. The bride wore a stunning, long white dress while the groom wore a dashing suit and tie. The two were absolutely inseparable and the love between them was inspirational to everyone around them. The reception’s theme was Irish, and green lit up the space as friends and family of Ashley and Jack sang, danced, laughed, and rejoiced in celebration of the newlyweds. CKE was able to catch photography of getting ready for the ceremony, the ceremony itself, formal photos, and the reception. Monday, November 2 held an intimate gathering of friends, family and vendors celebrated at Wamesit Lanes. The outpouring of the highest quality hors d’ouvres, drinks and “free stuff” was amazing. Everyone was having a blast at Wamesit Lanes, and the atmosphere was absolutely high energy throughout the night. CKE captured photography of the glowing building inside and out, as well as the happy faces of everyone who was inside enjoying themselves. It was truly a night to be remembered!
