Our experience working with Curtis Knight Entertainment was great from start to finish. We had a great time meeting Curtis and our DJ, Mike D. They set up a website for each of their clients, so that in the months leading up to the wedding, we were able to go on there and make payments as well as add and change songs. They also provided a link that guests could use to request songs for the reception (we could delete the songs if we wanted :). Our DJ ended up having a medical emergency that required him to be a few hours late for our wedding, but they provided a second DJ to fill in for him until he got there, and then stay the rest of the night to help him at no additional cost to us. Everything went off so smoothly and it was so nice having someone who was not only a DJ but a real MC. He got our crowd pumped up at several points throughout the night (before we were introduced, centerpiece game, dance floor opener, to name a few) and made sure we did the cake cutting, father-daughter dance, etc. when we needed to. We heard compliments all night from our guests about what a great DJ we had and we danced our butts off, which is exactly what we had wanted! There was even a spontaneous limbo contest! Our wedding was a blast and a big part of that is due to Mike D! Thank you and we are so glad we decided to work with you!

Hi Curtis, I just wanted to tell you what a FANTASTIC job Alex did for us at my daughter and her friends Sweet Sixteen.  He kept the kids on the dance floor all night!  I love the fact that he would ask the girls questions instead of me – that way they knew exactly what was going on at all times.  I would highly recommend him to anyone have a party of any kind!

Hi Curtis!! I’m so sorry I haven’t emailed you sooner!! It was certainly not for lack of a superb job of all CKE employees. I’ve just been working crazy overtime trying to pay off all our wedding debts haha. I just want to tell you how ecstatic I was about the wonderful job of all 3 of your team members at the wedding!! We were blown away at their level of professionalism and the wonderful energy all 3 of them brought to our special day. Mark and Alex were wonderful as DJ’s. Mark was just as great as all the reviews made him out to be and I can’t wait to add to the glowing reviews. He was fabulous and our guests had a blast because of his talents! Alex did a great job at the after party and was so gracious even when a few drunk karaoke singers didn’t want to give up the mic at the end of the night. He was a great sport!!! And Joel, although he was behind the camera he also did a wonderful job and was a joy to have there! Dealing with your company for the year and a half leading up to the wedding and through the event was a joy and CKE was certainly the most pleasant vendor we dealt with beginning to end Like I said, I’ve been crazy busy with work but as soon as it slows down I can’t wait to write up some fabulous reviews!! Curtis you have done it yet again. The experience of working with your office and staff was the easiest thing I did for the whole event. They were very professional, courteous and really knew how to take care of business and got the job done.
Alex of course was fabulous. This was the second time working with him and again he was just wonderful. He is very pleasant, accommodating and all age groups enjoyed the music he had to offer for the multiple generations present. He was an intrical part of making it the huge success it was.-Bob

The booking experience was easy and enjoyable.  I very much appreciated Curtis’ quick responses and frequent check-in emails/reminders about payment and planning options. I did not utilize the event site to the fullest extent possible, I’m sure, but I was impressed with that feature.  Alex was perfect fit for our event and I really appreciated his willingness to go with the flow, especially when we had some speech givers who were actually going to be using a portable mike for song and dance, and most of all, his ability to stay longer past the original agreement since it turned out we needed more time for dancing – I understand we’ll pay for this extra time, but just want to express my appreciation of his willingness to stay later.
Yes, absolutely – from lending us an extension cord to going the extra mile with the music and his services for an additional chunk of time, I am very grateful for Alex’s contributions to this event which would not have been a success without him!

We were very pleased Alex was great and a good sport! I think he expected a 40th birthday to be pretty mild – we kept him there for 10 hours straight and moved him from an outdoor space when it started to rain to the inside bar.
