Gina & Moose’s Sparkling New Years Eve Wedding Reception

From Gina… Re: Her New Year’s Eve Amazing Wedding.
Good Morning my friend! I’m just getting a chance now to reach out to you. We got home from Aruba Sunday night and I spent Monday doing, laundry, cleaning toilet bowls, doing errands and attending two wakes…..nothing says welcome back to reality like all that! I came back to work yesterday after not being here for two weeks…..yikes! And just like that, the wedding is over! I can’t thank you enough for everything you and your team did to make our wedding the success it was. People are still talking about it…..AND YOU! I can’t tell you how many private messages, text messages, phone calls, etc. Moose and I have been getting raving about you, about Anna, about Rachel………Mike…..even the photo booth guy……Eamon……people LOVED him! We have been inundated with comments about how professional you all were, how much fun, how the photographer wasn’t intrusive or pushy….I could go on and on and on…………. From the start, I knew what I wanted and even more importantly, I knew what I didn’t want. I wanted a party/a celebration……..I wanted no stuffy structure and for people to eat, drink, dance and have fun all night long….and that they did….because of YOU! Thank you Curtis, from the bottom of my heart for making our wedding a night Moose and I will remember the rest of our lives.
I saw the pictures and I love them. I could never find the appropriate words to thank you. So, I will just say it again….thank you Curtis and Anna, for making our wedding a night to remember. We will never forget you or your kindness.

Saturday, December 31, 2016, Curtis and Anna from CKE were the DJ/MC’s for Gina & Moose’s Sparkling New Years Eve Wedding Reception at Anthony’s in Malden, MA. Curtis was the photographer and Anna was the live photo editor as well as the uplighting technician. Eamon of CKE ran photobooth for guests also. Witnessing the unconditional love these two shared for each other was uplifting and inspiring. You could tell by the way Moose looked into his new bride’s eyes that there is nothing he wouldn’t do for her. These two have the most infectious personalities and this was obvious watching the way their lovely guests reacted to them. After eating a delicious gourmet meal, guests took to the dancefloor and rocked themselves straight into 2017! A fantastic time was had by all! We were so thrilled and tickled to be a part of Gina & Moose’s special day, we had a great time and look forward to seeing your relationship blossom even more over the years! Emma & Zack’s Cape Cod Wedding Reception

Saturday, September 4, 2016, Curtis and Anna from Curtis Knight Entertainment, www.curtisknight.com were the DJ/MCs, Anna from CKE was the Uplighting designer, Curtis and Dave Sullivan from CKE shot Still Photos, Curtis and Anna did the LIVE editing for the LIVE slide show which was presented on a 43” 4K High def Plasma TV monitor so the guests were seeing every photo taken shortly after the picture was snapped, at Emma and Zack’s Cape Cod wedding reception. This was a Wedding Ceremony and Reception, at Wychmere Beach Club, 23 Snow Inn Road, Harwich Port, MA . http://www.longwoodevents.com/Venues/wychmere-beach-club.shtml The wedding was beyond fantastic! The Ceremony was in the harbor room which is on a dock with water right up to the edge of the building and all glass. It was breathtaking. And then guests adjourned up to the main Reception level for cocktails out on the expansive deck, with a commanding view of the boats and the ocean. Truly surreal. What was possibly the most striking was the attitude of the staff. Friendly and nurturing – not what you might expect from a really “ritzy” place like this. The staff was perfect, and even saw to every need of the vendors. At one point they asked if we ( DJs ) wanted coffee, and brought us a big silver tray with the full coffee set up. We were stunned – and grateful. The bridal party did formal photos out on the beach. Very fun photo session! This was a fun bunch of about 200 people and they partied hard and screamed loud. It was noteworthy that both sides of the family stayed on the packed dance floor the entire time. It was “off the hook”. Boston Photographer / Videographer attends Wedding at New England Aquarium and assists injured DJ / MC !

On Saturday July 25 CKE DJ / MC Jeannie Clemens attended the Wedding for Allison and Gabriel at the New England Aquarium in Boston. A few days before the wedding Jeanne had injured her knee, and was on crutches. She asked me ( Curtis ) if I would come along as her assistant. I was thrilled to serve her (as photographer and videographer), as we have been friends for 40 years, and because as a coincidence I had a night off from doing weddings. The entire experience at the aquarium was far above what our usual experiences and expectations are from the venues we present at. Starting with Bob who welcomed us in at the gate and moved the barriers so that we could drive our car to the loading spot. There was Abigail, the site coordinator and Sandra who is the love of my life. Sandra was the hands-on room captain for the evening. Sandra, Abigail and Bob plus Ellison, the audio visual and weather expert all treated us as though we were treasured members of their family. Also, thanks to the large man who came and brought us ice water – nice guy! They waited on us hand and foot made sure that the vendors were fed first which is a very key component to an event that is often overlooked. The aquarium staff is a bunch of loving, warm, nurturing friends that invite the vendors onto the property and offer them every possible courtesy. Those courtesies extended all the way to the exact end of the evening when we were leaving the property when we did hugs and smiles. And now I cannot wait for my next event at the aquarium. It’s also important to mention that I spoke with two other DJs in the week leading up to this event and both of them told me that the staff at the aquarium was out of this world and that they do everything for you and treat you with respect and kindness. And they were not lying. This is a wonderful venue with tremendous views. There is so much to look at and so much to experience. There is not enough space to say it all here. And the most important thing, the bride and groom seemed extremely happy with the outcome. Jeanie did a great job as DJ; the dance floor was packed and everyone jumped up and down like crazy through the entire event and they even added over time. Allison and Gabriel put on a fantastic celebration leaving nothing to chance. The ceremony was outdoors, right next to the water, with Boston Harbor as the backdrop. Then we transitioned to cocktails inside the museum next to the penguin exhibit! The reception was held in an attached tent. I give the aquarium and Allison and Gabriel 5 stars. -Curtis Knight

Deo, who grew up in the Dominican Republic was stunned when he saw her in her lovely wedding dress. They had a beautiful ceremony at the CKE “Chapel In The Garden” in Billerica, MA. Curtis Knight provided JP services while Anna was videographer and photographer. She captured high quality video, photos and audio of their perfect day. After the ceremony was over and the happy couple had their first kiss as Husband and Wife, Curtis transitioned to photographer and took some amazing photos. All together there were more than 300 photos of the event along with video and audio of the entire ceremony. After celebrating with family, the happy couple left for their honeymoon in Gloucester, MA. Uplighting, and Video for Missy and Pat.

Saturday, January 24, 2015, Curtis and Anna, Boston Wedding DJs from Curtis Knight Entertainment, were the DJ MCs for Missy and Pat Tysinger’s wedding celebration! This celebration was held during a blizzard at the Stonehedge Inn located in Tyngsboro, MA. http://www.stonehedgeinnandspa.com/ Their outdoor photos came out incredible with a winter wonderland feel! Curtis brought along his camera and shot photos of the Tysinger’s wedding and presented them on two 43” high definition plasma TV’s throughout the evening. Anna from CKE provided the uplighting. Michael Brigida from CKE captured the evening on HD video.

Missy and Pat’s Love Story Goes like this:
It was October 11, 2011 and Missy reported for duty on the USS Klakring . Pat was already on board… and as the days passed Missy and Pat saw each other each day … Night after night Missy and Pat were assigned to the same bridge watch team.   Missy and Pat would talk for hours while on duty …Then they pulled in to Charleston South Carolina and members of the crew went to a night club. Now for the first time Missy was dressed in her own civilian clothes. Pat was stunned by Missy’s beauty and her grace, as she moved on the dance floor.
The ship returned to Mayport in late February and Missy and Pat began to see each socially …2 months after they started going out Pat had already fallen in love with Missy.   He was crazy about her so one night when he had too much to drink he sent a text message to Missy with 4 letters WYMM which stood for Will You Marry Me. The next day Missy asked Pat what it meant. Pat panicked and told Missy it was just random letters that did not mean anything.
Pat bought the engagement ring on December 15 and his plan was to propose to Missy on New years eve.   He also planned to take her to dinner the night before and trick her into thinking there would be no proposal.
December 30, 2012 , the evening before new years eve, Missy and pat went to Chili’s restaurant and during dinner Pat explained to Missy that He was going to be stationed in the middle East in the spring, so any relationship he was in would have to wait till he returned. Of course he was saying all of this with the ring already purchased, waiting to be used the following night.
So Now it was new year’s eve 2012 and it was one minute before midnight. Pat had bought 4 balloons and put a piece of paper inside each balloon. The pieces of paper each had a letter on them W Y M M which once again stood for Will You Marry Me.
And now Just before midnight he told Missy he had a “word Jumble” game for her to play. Pat told Missy to open the balloons by popping them. So she popped the balloons and read the 4 letters W Y M M .   Suddenly Missy realized what the letters meant.   Tears began to roll down her cheeks as she tried to process what was happening…As she looked up there was Pat , On his knees, the open ring box in his outstretched hand. Several moments passed as pat tried to read the expression on missy ‘s face …Then he began to panic because Missy had not said anything…Then, Missy began to nod her head yes. Pat popped the champagne …and kissed his fiancée as the clock struck midnight.
