Saturday, September 2, 2017, Brittany and Sean held their wedding reception at Union Bluff Hotel, York, ME. Where do I even begin? Curtis and Anna hands down made my wedding. Almost every guest I have spoken to have RAVED stating that my DJ was the best they have ever experienced and I could not have agreed more. My wedding was originally planned for December 2015 however my husband who is active duty military deployed last minute and I had to change my wedding date just 10 weeks out and Curtis and Anna were beyond amazing and made what could have been a very chaotic and stressful experience a very smooth transition. During planning, Curtis pays so much attention to detail that as a bride I did not have to worry about a single thing. They also made sure details I never would have even considered thinking about were taken care of. During my wedding, Curtis made sure the entire event ran on time and smoothly and made sure I was where I needed to be at all times. I did not have to worry about a thing. On top of being phenomenal DJs and wedding planning assistants, Curtis and Anna helped me to surprise my husband with Rene Rancourt. I recommend Curtis and Anna to not just brides but to ANYONE who needs a DJ for any event. Thank you Curtis and Anna from the bottom of both my heart and John’s for such a fantastic experience. Saturday, December 17, 2016, Curtis and Anna from CKE were the DJ/MC’s for Victoria and John’s romantic and sophisticated NH wedding reception at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, NH. Renee Rancourt also made a special appearance to sing the National Anthem. Curtis took many beautiful photos while Anna stepped in as live photo editor. Victoria was a simply gorgeous and glowing bride John was clearly mesmerized by her beauty. The love this couple felt for each other was obvious and it was delightful to see. Once the delicious dinner was served and the cake was cut it was time for this party to get started! These two rocked out and danced the night away happily at the Sky Meadow Country Club alongside their dear friends and family. Vickie and John, we were so thrilled to have been a part of your lovely day and we cannot wait to see how your beautiful relationship blossoms. Booking Rene Rancourt for my husband's surprise 30th birthday was easy and fast, thanks to your online booking platform. I also loved that fact that I could make payments online, helping me keep my party plans discrete! Rene was extremely easy to work with. He kindly emailed and called me at least two times prior to the party, to ensure that he knew where he was going and what to expect when he arrived. He arrived at the exact time he said he would, and even stayed a little past his contracted time to mingle and take photos with our guests.
Booking Rene Rancourt to make a surprise appearance at my husband's birthday was the best thing I could have ever done. As a lifelong Bruins fan, my husband's love for hockey and the Bruins franchise caught on quick with me in our relationship. When I decided I wanted to surprise him with a very special celebration for his 30th birthday, I knew it was going to be Bruins-themed. But a simple party decorated with Bruins colors and a cake was not going to cut it for me. I needed that extra special touch to make it an unforgettable night for both my husband and all of our guests, who were also completely surprised by Rene's arrival.
Only 4 people including myself knew that Rene Rancourt would be joining the party, making it that more amazing when he finally arrived an hour after the party had started. My husband had been under the impression that the party was the big surprise - little did he know what he was in for! I had hired a professional photographer to be present at the party, and that was another decision I am thankful I made. I didn't have to worry about capturing priceless moments myself that evening. And boy, the moment Rene arrived was priceless. The look on my husband's face is one I will never forget. His arrival was met with astonishment, laughs, cheers, and he sang the absolute BEST version of "Happy Birthday" to my husband that anyone could ever manage.
Rene is an entertainer - plain and simple. He is loud and jovial, friendly and funny. He took photos with every single guest who wanted one, let guests try on his Stanley Cup ring, told stories of his time with the Bruins and helped himself to food and drinks. He truly made the party the huge success that it was. Our guests gushed to me afterwards that I did an amazing job planning the party, and that the memories made that night far surpass any physical gift that I could have given my husband.
I think my husband summarized the night perfectly when he posted on Facebook the following day: "Last night was a night I will tell my future children about." I've attached a few photos so you can see for yourself the absolute joy it was having Rene at the party. Rene Rancourt was provided by CKE and he was the Celebrity Personality of the evening and he sang a charismatic version of our national anthem, while asking friends and family of Jessie and Pete to join in and sing with him . CKE’s Andrew Swaine was the designated Photographer and CKE’s Curtis shot photos as well. Jeff Crowley was the CKE Photo Booth Tech and the booth was really busy. Anna designed and implemented a dazzling Uplighting plot and room glowed surreally.
Ceremony was at the Retreat House Chapel – 554 Lexington Street, Waltham. Andrew went to the House for “getting ready” photos and then to the retreat to shoot the ceremony. Reception followed at Cafe Escadrille, 26 Cambridge Street, Burlington, MA 01803 www.cafeescadrille.com . Pete and Jess were lifted up by the guys at the end of their final dance, which was the perfect end to a perfect day !

Wedding DJ Tewksbury – Multi Service Wedding DJ / MC, Justice of the Peace, Photographer, Photo Booth and Video, for Katie and Brian ! Friday, July 05, 2013, Curtis and Anna from Curtis Knight Entertainment, www.curtisknight.com were the DJ MCs, Curtis Knight was the Justice of the peace and performed an original JP ceremony with much of the verbiage created by Katie, and Curtis and Anna shot Photos as the hired photographers, Joel and Jess were the Photo Booth Attendants, Michael Brigida was the cinematic videographer at Katie and Brian’s Wedding Ceremony and Reception at Tewksbury Country Club, 1880 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA www.tewksburycc.com.
This was an all CKE team of professionals who work well together, and it was a wonderful Ceremony and Reception. They also had twin 43” TVs with a LIVE slide show and LIVE video that CKE updated throughout the event ! The post and beam construction of Tewksbury Country Club makes it a favorite of brides and grooms, and the grounds are very well kept so that the views are breathtaking. During the ceremony, while Curtis was the JP, Katie and Brian created a special segment wherein they present each of their new children from their spouses side with a present. Each young lady was presented with a special necklace and an original poem was read by each parent as the gifts were presented . It was very touching. This Multi Service Event was a big hit with the guests. Below are some shots below, taken by Curtis:
